DOAN, Zola May -- Zola May DOAN, 102, of Mount Pleasant, formerly of Fairfield, died Tuesday morning, March 31, 2009, at Henry County Health Center in Mount Pleasant.

A funeral will be at 7:30 p.m. Monday at Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield, with the Rev. Mike Metz officiating. Interment will be in Lamberth Cemetery in Henry County.

Open visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Ms. DOAN was born Aug. 30, 1906, near Salem, the daughter of Charles William and Dorma STEWART DOAN.

Ms. DOAN lived most of her life in Henry County before moving to Fairfield in 1959. She worked as a domestic housekeeper and sold American Greeting Cards.

Ms. DOAN was a member of Salem Methodist Church and Fairfield First United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Joe, Ray and Roy DOAN.
