ROGERS, Robert 'Bob' Lee -- Robert "Bob" Lee ROGERS, 75, died Sunday, Feb. 22, 2009, at the Dallas County Care Facility in Adel.

A memorial service will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Dallas County Care Facility.

Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. Friday at Iles Funeral Homes-Dallas Center Chapel in Dallas Center. Cremation rites will follow the visitation.

Mr. ROGERS was born in Welsh, La., the son of Arville and Thelma ROGERS.

He had lived in Lake Charles before moving to Iowa in 1968. He was a United States Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He had worked at AMA Trampoline in Jefferson and at the Greene County Medical Center. He had been a resident at the Dallas County Care Facility for 14 years.

Mr. ROGERS was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He enjoyed gardening and fishing.

Survivors include one son, Anthony of Des Moines; one daughter, Carol PETERSON of Bagley; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Jean in 1976; two grandsons; and his parents.
