DOUGLAS, Billy Wayne -- Billy Wayne DOUGLAS, 72, of Burlington, died at 5:08 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 5, 2009, at Great River Hospice in West Burlington.

A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Four Square Gospel Church, with the Rev. Sam Fratt officiating. Ash committal will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.

Visitation with the family will be from 10-11 a.m. Tuesday at Four Square Gospel Church.

Mr. DOUGLAS was born March 13, 1936, in Stockport, the son of Chester A. DOUGLAS and Grace L. HAMMONS.

Mr. DOUGLAS worked at J & D Deli for 15 years and at the Iowa Army Ammunition Plant in Middletown.

He was a member of Four Square Gospel Church in Burlington.

He enjoyed painting, cooking, catering, camping and fishing.

Survivors include two daughters, Cathy GRAY of Gladstone, Ill., and Rhonda JUNKER of Burlington; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Gertrude LITE of Glasgow and Dorothy SAMS of Mediapolis.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and four sisters.
