TEDROW, Glenn O. -- Glenn O. TEDROW, 90, of Fairfield, died Sunday, Jan. 25, 2009, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

TEDROW, Glenn Oscar -- Glenn Oscar TEDROW, 90, of rural Fairfield, died Sunday, Jan. 25, 2009, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.
A service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield, with the Rev. Mike Metz officiating. Burial will be at Mount Moriah Cemetery south of Libertyville.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Mount Moriah Cemetery Association or Packwood Senior Citizen Center. Cards and memorials may be sent to 2123 Spruce Ave., Fairfield 52556.

Mr. TEDROW was born Jan. 20, 1919, in Libertyville, the son of Joseph B. and Grace CAMBLIN TEDROW. He married Arlene Elizabeth WILLIAMS Feb. 23, 1947, in rural Libertyville. She died Oct. 13, 2006.
Mr. TEDROW was a United States Army veteran of World War II, having served in the South Pacific with the Jolly Roger 321st Bombardment Squadron.
Mr. TEDROW was valedictorian of his Selma High School class. He lived most of his life in Jefferson County and farmed in Jefferson County and Center Township.
He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, Packwood Senior Citizen Center and Heritage Club. He was a member of First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two children, Gloria COUNTRYMAN and husband Phil and Charles TEDROW and wife Joanie, all of Fairfield; five grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and 10 stepgreat-grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, Lloyd, Rayburn, Brice, Vern and Murl TEDROW; and four sisters, Bertha Ellen, Zelda and Mildred.
