CHASE, Scott Alan -- Scott Alan CHASE, 48, of Burns Flat, Okla., died Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2009, following a lengthy illness.

A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Living Waters Church of Burns Flat, with the Rev. Dwight Shepard officiating.

Mr. CHASE was born July 14, 1960, in Fairfield, the son of Dale Eugene and Lea Ann FOWLER CHASE. He married Robbin LOVING Dec. 1, 1984, in Des Moines.

Arrangements are in the care of Martin Funeral Home of Elk City, Okla.

Mr. CHASE was raised in Iowa. He served in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany. Most of his working career was with Hertz and Budget Rent a Car as a computer specialist. He and his wife moved to Burns Flat., Okla., in the spring of 2000.

Mr. CHASE was a member of Paralyzed Veterans of America.

Survivors include his wife; three children, Scott Alan CHASE II of Burns Flat, Joshua Adam CHASE and wife Miranda of Fort Sill, Okla., and Samantha COOK and husband Rhett of Elk City, Okla.; two grandchildren; his mother and stepfather, Lea Ann and Ronald SCHLARBAUM of Burns Flat; two brothers, Dale CHASE of Ada, Okla., and Curtis CHASE of Burns Flat; and two stepbrothers, Doug SCHLARBAUM of Estes Park, Colo., and Dennis SCHLARBAUM of Loveland, Colo.

He was preceded in death by his father.
