Bonnie Pearl CAMPBELL

Bonnie Pearl CAMPBELL, 81, formerly of Fairfield and Libertyville, died Sunday, Dec. 21, 2008, in Linden.

A funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield, with the Rev. Dave Peterson officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.

Visitation with the family will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Mrs. CAMPBELL was born June 18, 1927, in Morning Sun, the daughter of Pearl and Emma BOLON CORNICK. She married John CAMPBELL Jr. April 12, 1944.

Mrs. CAMPBELL was employed for many years at the Iowa Army Ammunition Plant in Middletown as a forklift driver.

She enjoyed traveling to visit family and friends and spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed playing cards, doing crossword puzzles, playing slot machines and listening to Elvis and Ricky Van Shelton.

Survivors include three children, Patricia Ann CAMPBELL, Michael Cornick CAMPBELL and Pamela Jean BASQUIN; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and four siblings, Lela CORNICK, Gerald CORNICK, Dwight CORNICK and Ebb CORNICK.
