Obit. Frank E. STEWART, (Francis) son of John W. and Elizabeth M. STEWART, born in Rectortown, Va., Aug. 4, 1868, departed this life July 1, 1927, at Iowa City, Iowa. At age of 8 moved with his parents to Jefferson County, Iowa, where he has made his home ever since. Received his education in the schools of this county and attended Iowa State College at Cedar Falls. He was a successful teacher for 27 years and for 12 years served as Clerk of Polk Township. United with M.E. Church of Packwood 25 years ago. His parents and one brother preceded him in death a number of years ago. Survived by three sisters, Madge, Harriet and Helen with whom he lived since the death of their parents, two brothers, Edward of Sacramento, Calif., George H. of Tipton, a niece and nephew, Helen and Morgan STEWART who have made this their home for the past few years, and three newphews of Tipton. Services at Methodist Church Monday. Burial in family lot in Packwood Cemetery.
