Harry L. SHUMARD, about 80, well known Packwood resident, was found dead in bed Sunday morning. Services at Christian Church in Packwood; burial in Packwood Cemetery. Born July 2, 1869, in Ohio, son of William F. and Elizabeth WARE SHUMARD. Moved to Packwood from Cedar Rapids about 16 years ago, was a retired carpenter. Survived by one brother, H. E. SHUMARD, Colony, Kansas. Preceded in death by parents, a sister and two brothers. (Death Record shows he was born July 2, 1869, in Ohio. Informant, Mrs. Claude B. King.)
