Cecil "Buck" RUGGLES, 40, died Tuesday as result of two car accident 3½ miles N.E. of Batavia, near the Arnold "Dick" Curray farm. Burial in Packwood Cemetery. A lifelong resident of Jefferson County, born at Packwood Mar. 5, 1912, son of Amos and Evelyn McVEY RUGGLES; married Marietta VESTAL March 15, 1934, at Oskaloosa. Survived by one son, Ronald, and following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Ora CARBAUGH, Ottumwa; Mrs. Iris WELLS, Alameda, Calif.; Mrs. Bernice McMILLAN, Berkeley, Calif.; William RUGGLES, Packwood; James RUGGLES, Fremont; and Mrs. Joe MOORE, Libertyville. One daughter and one brother preceded him in death.
