John NELSON, over 70, resident of Jefferson County since 1911, died Wed. at his home 3 miles north of Packwood. Survived by wife and eleven children: Mrs. Anna KETCHAM near Packwood; William NELSON, Cambridge, Ill.; Mrs. Margaret STERNER, Batavia; Fred and James NELSON of Ollie; Chester NELSON, Cambridge, Ill.; Mrs. Katherine LIGGETT, Fairfield; Cecil NELSON, Batavia, and George, Eva and Helen at home. Also survived by a brother, Alex of Kearney, Neb., and 9 grandchildren. Moved from Cambridge, Ill., to the Batavia vicinity in 1911 and to Packwood community in 1922. Services at Packwood Methodist Church.
