PACKWOOD. Albert L. NELSON, 86, died 4 a.m. today at Jefferson Co. Hospital. Born June 12, 1880, at Mediapolis, Iowa, son of Martin and Emma NELSON; married in 1910 to Nora Marie CARNAGIE (sic - CARNAGEY) at Fairfield. Moved to the Packwood community in 1921 where he had lived since. His first wife died in Oct., 1947. He was married to Ella G. CHESTER (?) (sic - Ella V. CUSTER GRANT) in 1948. She died May 2, 1957. In addition to his two wives, he was preceded in death by one brother. Survivors include two sons, Cecil W. NELSON, Davenport; Roy NELSON, Ollie; one daughter, Mrs. Alberta NEFF, Packwood; two grandchildren, and a brother, Oscar NELSON, Kingston, Iowa.
