WATSON, Edmond R. 'Eddie' -- Edmond R. "Eddie" WATSON, 91, of Fairfield, died Thursday, Dec. 11, 2008, at Parkview Care Center in Fairfield.
A private burial service will be held at a later date. The body has been cremated.
Visitation will be from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Tuesday at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield.
Cards and memorials to Parkview Care Center or Glasgow Cemetery Association may be sent to 13499 Eagle Drive, Douds 52551. The family requests no flowers.

The Cremation Society of Eastern-Central-Western Iowa is assisting with arrengements.
Mr. WATSON was born July 12, 1917, in Glasgow, the son of E.R. "Ray" and Rhuie E. LITTON WATSON. He married Vivian M. HESTON June 7, 1941, in Kahoka, Mo. She died Dec. 11, 1999.
Mr. WATSON attended school in Glasgow and Lockridge. He farmed and was an ironworker and mechanic. He retired in 1982 from Fairfield Engineering.
Survivors include four children, Terry WATSON of Burlington, Ronald WATSON of Douds, Patricia HUNTER of Mount Pleasant and Shirley TRUEBLOOD of Marion; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one brother, William WATSON of rural Lockridge.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents, one infant son and two brothers.
