STAGE, David B. -- David B. STAGE, 73, of Birmingham, died at 5:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 11, 2008, at home.

Arrangements are pending at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua.

STAGE, David B. -- David B. STAGE, 73, of Birmingham, died at 5:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 11, 2008, at home.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Keosauqua, with the Rev. Steven Rasmussen officiating. The body has been cremated.

Family visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Monday at the church.

Memorials to the church may be brought to the service or mailed to the family at PO Box 82, Birmingham 52535.

Arrangements are in the care of Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua.

Mr. STAGE was born April 24, 1935, in Detroit, Mich., the son of Alton H. and Evelyn EDDERLY STAGE. He married Marlene L. PONIATOWSKI June 18, 1955, in Belleville, Mich.

Mr. STAGE graduated from Belleville High School. He had lived in Michigan, Ohio, Nevada and various locations throughout the United States in connection with his work. He moved to Fairfield in 1974 and retired to Birmingham five years ago. Mr. STAGE was an inspector with several fiber optic companies. He also had worked in a Nevada casino and for Rockwell International in Fairfield.

Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Susan MADDIX and husband Randy of Birmingham; two grandchildren; and two sisters, Delores NARDONE of Mesquite, Nev., and Patty HAYCOCK of Las Vegas, Nev.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
