SCHULTZ, Virginia Lucinda -- Virginia Lucinda SCHULTZ, 76, died Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2008, at her home near Ollie.

A graveside service and burial will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Ollie Cemetery, with the Rev. Danny Cary officiating.

Visitation with the family will be from noon to 12:55 p.m. Saturday at Fremont Funeral Chapel.

Memorials may be made to Dollars for Scholars Pekin Community Schools, Ollie Fire Department or Keokuk County Hospice.

Mrs. SCHULTZ was born Sept. 30, 1932, in Washington County, the daughter of Henry ASH and Lucy CAVIN ASH MILLS. She married Harold William SCHULTZ Aug. 19, 1951, at Ollie Baptist Church in Ollie. He died in 1998.

Mrs. SCHULTZ and her husband lived and farmed in the Ollie area all their lives.

Her interests included gardening and yard work. She also enjoyed cooking for her family. She was a Pekin football fan and attended every game her grandchildren participated in for 16 years.

Survivors include one son, Gary SCHULTZ and wife Cheryl of Ollie; one daughter, Cathy SILVERS and husband David of Ollie; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three stepgreat-grandchildren; one sister, Susannah G. ESTES of Peoria, Ill.; one half brother, Jack MILLS of Bloomfield; one stepbrother, Jess MILLS of Morning Sun; and one stepsister, Vera TROURTWINE of Wapello.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; her stepfather, Jess MILLS; one half brother, Wilbur SELCK; and one stepsister, Betty MILLS.
