HECK, Ronald Paul -- Ronald Paul HECK, 73, of Lone Tree, died Thursday, Dec. 11, 2008, at Pioneer Park Care Facility in Lone Tree.
A Mass of the Resurrection will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. James Catholic Church in Washington, Iowa, with the Rev. Paul Appel officiating. Interment will take place at Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington.
Visitation will begin at noon Monday at Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington, where the family will be present from 6-8 p.m. A prayer service will be at 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Memorials have been established to Pioneer Park Care Facility and Hospice.

Mr. HECK was born Oct. 13, 1935, in Washington, Iowa, the son of Fred Paul and Bernadine "Babe" MORAN HECK.
Mr. HECK attended St. James School in Washington and later Catholic school in Wisconsin. He lived in Washington before moving to Fairfield in 1970. He had lived in Lone Tree for the past few years. Mr. HECK farmed all his life with his father.
He was a member of St. James Catholic Church in Washington and St. Mary Catholic Church in Fairfield.
He enjoyed playing video games with family and friends.
Survivors include two brothers, Francis "Frank" HECK of Fredrick, Wis., and Don HECK of New Hampton; and one sister, Barb THOMPSON of Riverside.
He was preceded in deeath by his parents and two sisters, Mary "Pat" BEENBLOSSOM and Beulah "Booty" PACHA.
