Zerle T. "Preach" MYERS, native of Jefferson County and an Iowa Highway Commission employee, died today at Jefferson County Hospital. Masonic services at Raymond Funeral Home 11 a.m. Friday. Burial in Packwood Cemetery. Born June 23, 1907, at Abingdon, son of Charles O. and Lottie WEBB MYERS. Reared and educated in the Abingdon and Packwood Communities. Formerly he was in the feed and grain business, but for the past 12 years was employed by Highway Commission as a weight officer. Married, Mar. 18, 1930, in Fairfield, Mary MILLS who survives. Member of the Masons. Family home is at 303 W. Madison. Survivors include wife, one son, J. Roy of Fairfield; two grandchildren; two brothers, Clyde of Packwood and Wallace, Abingdon; and a sister, Mrs. Lawrence MITCHELL, Abingdon. Preceded in death by one daughter and a twin brother.
