Obit. Basil C. MARLOW. Basil Carroll, son of Caffrey and Ellen (GILL) MARLOW, born near Iola, Keokuk County, Iowa, July 4, 1864, and died at Jefferson County Hospital Oct. 9, 1939, age 75-3-5. In March, 1885, married Louisa SNOOK; two children: Mamie, who preceded him in death, and William Ralph who resides in Denver. Col. On Dec. 25, 1911, married Mrs. Allie BEERY at Galesburg, Ill. He leaves his wife, son Ralph, 3 stepchildren: Mrs. C. C. McCHESNEY, Packwood; Lyle BEERY, Mt. Pleasant; Wayne BEERY, Harvey, Iowa. Mayor of Packwood 12 years. Burial in Packwood Cemetery.
