Cassius Cullom McCHESNEY, son of Cassius M. and Flora E. McCHESNEY, born near Packwood May 22, 1892, died at Packwood June 27, 1943, age 51-1-5. Married Leona Vivian BEERY Dec. 30, 1915, in Fairfield. His father and two sisters preceded him in death. Surviving are wife and three children: Blanche Louise JONES, Ottumwa; Raymond Leslie of Packwood, and Cassius Harold with the armed forces in North Africa; also his mother of Packwood; one brother, Roy, of Packwood; three sisters: Lena BARRON, Ames; Carrie DICKINSON, Brighton, and Blanch BALDWIN, of Packwood. Rural Mail Carrier for 17 years. Burial at Packwood.
