PACKWOOD - Last rites will be Monday for Allie R. MARLOW, 91, Packwood resident who died at 12:32 a.m. Friday at the Jefferson County Hospital where she had been a patient since Monday.
Previously she had been a resident of the Park View Care Center for the past five months.
The rites Monday will be at 1:30 p.m. at the Packwood Christian Church with the Rev. Byron Newland officiating. Burial will be in the Packwood Cemetery. The casket will be taken from the Raymond Funeral home to the church at 11 a.m. Monday.
Allie R. MARLOW was born May 31, 1881, near Ellisville, Ill. She was the daughter of William and Sarah Rose LEEPER and was reared and educated in the Ellisville Community.
She was married in 1897 to William D. BEERY. He died in 1910. Her marriage to Basil C. MARLOW took place in 1911 and he died Oct. 9, 1939.
Mrs. MARLOW gave music lessons for many years in the Packwood Community. She was a member of the Packwood Christian Church and a member of its board for many years. She was also a member of the WSCS and a charter member of the Mothers Birthday Club.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. E.R. BONNETT, Richland; one son, Wayne D. BEERY, Cushing; seven grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, one brother and two sisters.
