REHKOPF, Ronald Eugene -- Ronald Eugene REHKOPF, 50, formerly of fairfield, died of a possible heart attack Monday, Oct. 13, 2008, at home in O'Fallon, Mo.

A funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield, with the Rev. Dave Peterson officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Fairfield.

Family visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday and 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Memorials have been established to Innsbrook Golf Course and the American Heart Association.

Mr. REHKOPF was born May 16, 1958, in Fairfield, the son of Richard Eugene and Wanda L. DAVIDSON REHKOPF. He married Mary HOLTRUP Nov. 9, 1984, in Wentzville, Mo.

Mr. REHKOPF grew up in Fairfield and graduated from Fairfield High School. He attended University of Northern Iowa, Indian Hills Community College and Northeast Missouri State University. He worked at Innsbrook Estate Golf Course for 17 years.

Mr. REHKOPF was active in baseball in high school and college. He was a golfer and a devoted St. Louis Cardinals fan.

Survivors include his wife; his mother, Wanda REHKOPF ABERNATHY of Burlington; one brother, Randy REHKOPF of Richland; and one sister, Ranita SHELBY of Fairfield.

He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents.
