A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Ollie Cemetery in Ollie, with the Rev. Dave Nolte officiating.
Family visitation will be from 5:30 - 7 p.m. Thursday at Gould Funeral Home in Richland.
Memorials to Hospice and Palliative Care of Western Colorado may be left at the funeral home or mailed to 2754 Compass Drive Suite 377, Grand Junction, CO 81506.
Mr. SCHREINER was born Aug. 21, 1925, the son of Edgar H. and Thelma M. MARSHALL SCHREINER. He married Mary HANSEN Oct. 1, 1955, in Wilton, N.D.
Mr. SCHREINER spent his childhood in Ollie and attended Ollie schools. He joined the U.S. Army in 1944 and was stationed in Germany until his discharge in 1946.
Mr. SCHREINER later attended Parsons College in Fairfield and completed a bachelor of science degree in 1948. In 1951, he received his master's degree in wildlife management from Iowa State University in Ames. Also in 1951, he started his career working for the North Dakota Game and Fish Department. He began his 27-year career with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service in 1956 and retired in 1983. He held several positions in several states.
During his career, he received numerous awards and commendations.
Mr. SCHREINER enjoyed reading, fishing, hunting and gardening.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Tim of McLean, Va., Tab of Littleton, Colo., and Ty of Eumclaw, Wash.; four grandchildren; and one stepgrandson.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Jack.
