BAUMAN, Jill Anjanette HOY -- Jill Anjanette HOY BAUMAN, 39, of Pella, died Monday, Sept, 15, 2008, in Pella.

A funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Attica United Methodist Church in Attica.

Visitation began at noon today at Garden Chapel Funeral Home in Pella, where the family will be present from 4-8 p.m.

Memorials may be made to the Pella Historical Society or Attica United Methodist Church.

Mrs. BAUMAN was born July 24, 1969, in Washington, Iowa, the daughter of Gene Wilbur and Linda GURNEY HOY. She married Dwaine Anthony BAUMAN March 5, 1994, in Richland.

Mrs. BAUMAN grew up in Richland. She graduated from Pekin High School in Packwood and then attended Central College in Pella. While at Central, she worked as a manager for the football and basketball teams. She held various positions with different companies after graduation from Central. She and her husband moved from the HOY home place near Bussey to Pella in 2001.

Mrs. BAUMAN was an organ recipient in 2002 and gave several inspirational talks with her mother about the organ donor program. She was diagnosed with cancer in 2006.

Mrs. BAUMAN played the piano regularly for her church in Attica and organized the children's hand bell choir. She loved the Dutch heritage and festivities of Tulip Time; she sewed many Dutch costumes and volunteered many hours at the Pella Historical Village.

Survivors include her husband; one son, Dalton Dwaine; her parents; three brothers, Michael Dean, David Gene and Daniel Howard; and her grandmother, Virginia HOY.
