CAUGHRON, Patricia A. -- Patricia A. CAUGHRON, 72, of Cantril, died at 6:10 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 17, 2008, at Ottumwa Regional Health Center in Ottumwa.

A funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Cantril Christian Church, with the Rev. Phil Campbell officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Cantril.

Open visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, where family will be present from 6:30-8 p.m.

Memorials to Cantril Christian Church may be left at the funeral home or church or may be mailed to the family at PO Box 44, Cantril 52542.

Mrs. CAUGHRON was born Oct. 10, 1935, in Melrose, the daughter of Leighton and Violet SUTTON MORRISON. She married Jerry CAUGHRON Feb. 22, 1952, in Waterloo.

Mrs. CAUGHRON and her husband lived in Waterloo and several Iowa locations, including rural Lucas, Seymour, Macedonia, Douds, Milton and Henderson, where he was a minister. They lived the past 29 years in Cantril where her husband pastors Cantril Christian Church. Mrs. CAUGHRON helped and supported her husband in his work.

She was a member of Cantril Christian Church and its Women's Fellowship.

Survivors include her husband; four daughters, Vicki DUNCAN and husband Stanley of Milton, Faith TRACHSEL and husband Pat of rural Bloomfield, Debra SHILEY and husband Shawn of Cedar Rapids and Jeri CRILE and husband Jeff of Fairfield; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and three brothers, Richard MORRISON of Waterloo, Basil MORRISON of Rocky Mount, N.C., and Herbert MORRISON of Washburn; and one sister, Viola BURNS of Cedar Falls.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Roger MORRISON.
