TEETER, Margaret Elizabeth -- Margaret Elizabeth TEETER, 73, of Fairfield, died Wednesday, April 16, 2008, at Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield.

A funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield, with the Rev. Dave Peterson officiating. Interment will be at Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Fairfield.

Visitation will be from 6-7:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to muscular distrophy or the American Heart Association.

Mrs. TEETER was born Jan. 13, 1935, in Keokuk County, the daughter of Peter and Elizabeth CLARK CLUBB. She married Elmer TEETER April 4, 1954, in Fairfield.

Mrs. TEETER was a 1952 graduate of North English High School. She grew up in the Sigourney area and moved to Fairfield in 1952. She worked at Fairfield Accounting, the Fairfield Public Library for 10 years, The Fairfield Ledger and Central Valley Bank.

Mrs. TEETER enjoyed attending local sporting events, reading and flowers.

She was a member of Pleasant Grove Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Linda TEETER of Fairfield; three brothers, Roger CLUBB of Douds, Gordon CLUBB of Burlington, Larry CLUBB of Sigourney; and three sisters, Peggy DERBY of Richland, Joan GRIMM of Millersburg and Doris OWINGS of DeWitt.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Mike; three brothers, Russell CLUBB, Rodney CLUBB and Forrest CLUBB; and one sister, Allegra COONEY.
