HUFFMAN, Margaret 'Jean' -- Margaret "Jean" HUFFMAN, 78, of Libertyville, died Wednesday, April 16, 2008, at home.

Following her wishes, the body will be cremated, and no services are planned at this time. Private family inurnment will be held at a later date in Forest Home Cemetery in Mount Pleasant.

Memorials may be made to the Libertyville Fire Department or a charity of the donor's choice.

Mrs. HUFFMAN was born June 3, 1929, in Mount Pleasant, the daughter of Elmer E. and Zella ELLIS JENNINGS. She married Edward HUFFMAN, and they later divorced.

Mrs. HUFFMAN was a longtime resident of Libertyville and was a care provider for ResCare for 12 years.

Survivors include six children, Connie VAGTBORG and husband Chris of St. Simons Island, Ga., Rhonda KURTZ and husband Greg of Chino Valley, Ariz., Donna ZENDEJAS and husband Adam of Phoenix, Ariz., Lon HUFFMAN of Birmingham, Sandy LATHROP and husband Jerry of Swisher and Lorie STEVENS and husband Danny of Casa Grande, Ariz.; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one brother, Arlie JENNINGS of Fairfield.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Bonnie HUFFMAN; and one sister, LaDoris BOSHART.
