PRINGER, Ila M. -- Ila M. PRINGER, 87, formerly of Richland, died at 5:32 a.m. Saturday, March 8, 2008, at Parkview Care Center in Fairfield.

Arrangements are pending at Gould Funeral Home in Richland.

PRENGER, Ila M. -- Ila M. PRENGER, 87, formerly of Richland, died at 5:32 a.m. Saturday, March 8, 2008, at Parkview Care Center in Fairfield.

A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Gould Funeral Home in Richland, with the Rev. Harlan Van Voorst officiating. Burial will be in Richland Friends Cemetery.

Visitation with the family will be from 10-11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

A memorial has been established for Trinity Friends Church.

Mrs. PRENGER was born June 14, 1920, near Richland, the daughter of John M. and Cecil L. WATERS HOSKINS. She married Hilbert PRENGER. He died June 4, 1972.

Mrs. PRENGER grew up near Richland and graduated from Richland High School in 1938. She worked as a telephone operator and was a homemaker most of her life. She lived in Fairfield before moving to the care center in 2004.

Survivors include one daughter, Patty McCURREN and husband Ric of Fairfield; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Rosalie MORGAN and Louise THOMAS.
