L. D. HARPER IS SUMMONED IN MINNESOTA

Funeral Services Monday, 2:30 p.m. at TRUESDALE Home In City

Leslie D. HARPER for many years a resident of Fairfield passed away last evening at Minneapolis, Minn. He was the son of Mrs. J. M. HARPER of this city, and a brother of Mrs. H. M. TRUESDALE. Mr. HARPER underwent an operation two weeks ago, and was unable to rally from the shock.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 2:30 p.m. at the TRUESDALE residence, 507 E. Burlington street. Dr. Gilbert Voorhies will be in charge.

Mr. HARPER was 51 years of age at the time of his death. He had been away from Fairfield for nearly 20 years. He was formerly connected with the Minneapolis Associated charities, and for the past several years has conducted a dairy on the outskirts of Minneapolis.

A graduate of Parsons college with the class of 1906, Mr. HARPER will be remembered by many residents as one of the greatest tackles in Parsons football history. Several years after his graduation he married Miss Florence Glenn (sic - Florence G. HAMPSON), then music supervisor of Parsons college. he (sic) survives him, as do two children. Persis, who attended Parsons for two years, and John.
