HILL, Jason F. -- Jason F. HILL, 36, of Prairie du Chien, Wis., died Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2008, at Prairie du Chien Memorial Hospital after a battle with cancer.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held Monday morning at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Tama, with the Rev. Mike Mescher officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.

Arrangements are in the care of Garrity Funeral Home in Prairie du Chien, Wis.

Mr. HILL was born Sept. 30, 1971, in Grinnell, the son of Hugh HILL and Barbara YILEK. He married Gina KRAUS June 17, 1995, in Cascade.

Mr. HILL was a graduate of the University of Iowa and was employed in the family business, Sut-Hill Motors in Prairie du Chien, Wis.

He was a member of St. John's Church in Prairie du Chien, Ducks Unlimited and Kiwanis.

Mr. HILL was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and golfing. He also enjoyed boating and water skiing.

Survivors include his wife; two children, Tessa Katelyn and Tyson Fredrick; his father, Hugh "Sut" HILL, former Fairfield businessman, and wife Tammy of Prairie du Chien, Wis.; his mother, Barbara YILEK PROBST and husband Daryl of Owatonna, Minn.; one sister, Whitney HILL of Prairie du Chien, Wis.; two stepbrothers, Brad HUMBLE and wife April of McGregor and Chad HUMBLE of Overland, Kan.
