KRESKY, Lotus -- Lotus KRESKY of Fairfield, IA, a sweet loving lady, dear friend, uplifting supportive mother, wife and grandmother, died at 11:50 AM on Thursday, January 17, 2008 at the home of her daughter in Los Gatos, CA. In attendance were her husband, Stanley KRESKY and her son Todd. Cremation took place at Evergreen Cemetery in Oakland, CA.

Lotus was born in Los Angeles, CA at the Queen of Angels Hospital on October 5, 1931. She had three children in her first marriage. While raising her family she also found time to earn a Masters Degree in physics from the University of California. Aside from the sciences, her other passion was gardening. She won many prize ribbons for her champion irises. She remarried on October 12, 1985 to Stanley KRESKY in Fairfield where they continued to live to the present. A celebration of her life is planned for Sunday, April 6, 2008 at 2 PM at her home at 407 West Hempstead Ave.
