LEE, Ida M. -- Ida M. LEE, 87, of Fairfield, died this morning, Friday, Feb. 1, 2008, at Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield.

A service is tentatively scheduled for Tuesday morning at Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield.

LEE, Ida Mae -- Ida Mae LEE, 87, of Fairfield, died Friday, Feb. 1, 2008, at Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield.

A funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield, with the Rev. Mike Metz officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Fairfield.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. LEE was born March 7, 1920, in Fairfield, the daughter of Carl and May MILES CARLSON. She married Ray TAYLOR in 1945. He died in 1962. She married George LEE in 1964. He died in 1970.

Mrs. LEE graduated from Fairfield High School and attended Parsons College. She had been a teacher at Center No. 11. She and her husband Ray operated Taylor Funeral Home in Vinton for 17 years.

Mrs. LEE was a member of First United Methodist, Church, T.T.T. and Eastern Star. She was a past president of the American Legion Auxiliary and was the mother advisor to the Rainbow Girls.

Survivors include one son, James TAYLOR and wife Deb of Polk City; one grandson; one sister, Lucy DAVIES of Burson, Calif.; and two stepdaughters, Penny MARES of Lakewood, Colo., and Barbara BONTREGER of Delta, Colo.

In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Jack CARLSON and George CARLSON; one sister, Mary OLSON; and one stepdaughter, Ellen WOOLUMS.
