HUNT, Louie Dean -- Louie Dean HUNT, 91, of Fairfield, died Saturday, Feb. 2, 2008, at Parkview Care Center in Fairfield.

A service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield, wth the Rev. Ernest DeWitt officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Fairfield.

Open visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Family visitation will be from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Central Iowa. Cards and memorials may be sent to 2386 Highway 1, Fairfield 52556.

Mr. HUNT was born June 29, 1916, in Bible Grove, Mo., the son of Barton and Cornelia STICE HUNT. He married Pansy Rowene EGGERS Dec. 24, 1935, in Lancaster, Mo. She died June 13, 1991.

Mr. HUNT was self-employed as a farmer for 15 years and was employed at Iowa Malleable Iron Co. for 30 years.

He was a member of Bethesda Community Church.

Survivors include three children, Darrell E. HUNT and wife Martha V. of Fairfield, Norma J. BOESE and husband Bill of Fairfield and Lorna J. DAVIS and husband Darrell of Mead, Colo.; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren,; and one sister, Margie BARKER of Mobley, Mo.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents; one grandson; and six siblings, Floyd HUNT, Dorsey HUNT, Ronald HUNT, Arba HUNT, Clair HUNT and Mamie HUNT.
