MEIXNER, Richard Thomas, Sr. -- Richard Thomas MEIXNER Sr., 68, of Fairfield, died Thursday, Jan. 24, 2008, at home.

A memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield, with the Rev. Michael Renken officiating. The body will be cremated. Inurnment will be held at a later date in Evergreen Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Richard MEIXNER family and sent to 420 E. Washington St., Birmingham 52535.

Mr. MEIXNER was born Feb. 17, 1939, in DeForest, Wis., the son of Emil and Anna MUELLER MEIXNER.

Mr. MEIXNER was a member of the Fairfield community for the past 29 years and was previously employed at Fairfield Aluminum Castings Company.

Survivors include two children, Richard MEIXNER Jr. of Fox Lake, Wis., and James MEIXNER and wife Amber of Birmingham; three grandchildren; two sisters, Phylis MEIXNER and Kathryn ROWE, both of DeForest, Wis.; and one brother, Donnie MEIXNER of Racine, Wis.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Ruth PERRY and Helen MILLARD; and four brothers, Albert, Ray, Eddie and Bill MEIXNER.
