JONES, Norma Louise ROBERTS -- Norma Louise ROBERTS JONES, 87, of Knoxville, died Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2008, at West Ridge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

A committal service will be held Saturday at Evergreen Cemetery in Fairfield.

Memorials may be made to the West Ridge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center activity fund or Knoxville Humane Society. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.williamsfhknoxville.com .

Williams Funeral Home in Knoxville is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. JONES was born April 19, 1920, in Ottumwa, the daughter of Lora Mae COOL and Milton Asbury TALBOTT. She married Loren ROBERTS March 28, 1935. He preceded her in death, and she later remarried.

Mrs. JONES graduated from Ottumwa High School. She and her husband Loren farmed for many years north of Fairfield near Brighton and Richland. She worked at Jefferson County Hospital as a certified nurse's aide and in physical therapy for 12 years. She also worked for Warren County Home Health Service for several years.

Mrs. JONES lived in Adel, Agency, What Cheer, Milo and the Fairfield area. She moved to West Ridge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center Aug. 31, 1998.

Mrs. JONES was active in her church, school functions, the Farm Bureau and Ladies Aid group. She was always helping someone or caring for a family member.

Survivors include two daughters, Phyllis LILISKIES of San Carlos, Mexico, and June DeLighte WILBUR and husband Ronald of Carlisle; one son, Larry ROBERTS and wife Becky of St. Petersburg, Fla.; eight grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Paul ROBERTS.
