ULIN, Forest F. 'Frosty' -- Forest F. "Frosty" ULIN, 93, of Fairfield, died Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2008, at Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield.
A service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield, with the Rev. Dave Peterson officiating. Burial will be in Pennington Cemetery, south of Sigourney, following cremation.
Family visitation will be from 3-5 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Jefferson County conservation program.

Mr. ULIN was born March 10, 1914, west of Hayesville in Keokuk County, the son of John William and Lydia Ann FISCHER ULIN. He married Oma May SANDS May 31, 1934.
Mr. ULIN graduated from Sigourney High School in 1931. After farming for several years, he attended Parsons College.
During World War II, Mr. ULIN served with the United States Army for three years in the Pacific, assigned to the 533rd Engineer Boat and Shore Regiment. He took an active role in the 533rd reunions.
Mr. ULIN and his family established their home in Fairfield in 1946. He spent the majority of his life as a photographer, owning and operating Ulin Photographic Studio. He also owned farmland in Keokuk County.
Mr. ULIN was one of the founding fathers of Little League in Fairfield. He coached teams both in Little League and in the Babe Ruth Leagues. He enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid quail hunter.
Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Jane CONNOLLY of Waverly; one son, Bill ULIN and wife Kitty of Manassas, Va.; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
