JOHNSON, Judith Lee -- Judith Lee JOHNSON, 60, of rural Hillsboro, died at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7, 2007, at Van Buren County Hospital in Keosauqua.
A service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with the Rev. Mark Caston officiating. Burial will be in Hillsboro Cemetery.
Open visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, where family will be present from 7-8 p.m.
Memorials to Van Buren County Hospital may be left at the funeral home or mailed to the family at 15186 Timber Ave., Stockport 52651.
Mrs. JOHNSON was born Dec. 23, 1946, in Fairfield, the daughter of Clifford and Doris REIGHARD McCRACKEN. She married Stanley L. JOHNSON Sept. 14, 1969, at Richland United Methodist Church. He died April 25, 2004.
Mrs. JOHNSON grew up in the Richland community. She graduated from Pekin High School in 1965 and from Iowa Success Business School in Ottumwa. She and her husband farmed in the Hillsboro-Stockport area, and she worked several years in the Villages of Van Buren office in Keosauqua. She also worked at the Van Buren County Hospital Keosauqua clinic.
Mrs. JOHNSON was a member of Bonaparte Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Ricky and wife Elizabeth of Omaha, Neb., and Jason and wife Debra of Stockport; three grandchildren; her mother of Des Moines; and two sisters, Janet WALL of Des Moines and Julia HOLLINGSWORTH of Little Rock, Ark.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her father.
