GILLASPIE, Louise B. -- Louise B. GILLASPIE, 97, of Omaha, Neb., and formerly of Fairfield, died Saturday, Dec. 15, 2007, in Omaha, Neb.

The funeral was held Dec. 19, 2007, at Christ The King Lutheran Church in Bellevue, Neb., with the Rev. Harold Schmidt officiating.

Interment was at Oak Hills Cemetery in Plattsmouth, Neb.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society.

Westlawn-Hillcrest Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. GILLASPIE was born April 22, 1910, in Washington, Iowa, the daughter of Clark and Cora BELL. She married Raymond GILLASPIE Dec. 31, 1931. He has died.

The GILLASPIEs lived in Fairfield and surrounding areas for many years. They owned the cafe in Libertyville for several years. She taught in one-room country schools.

Survivors include two sons: Robert GILLASPIE and wife Joy of Fairfield and Harold GILLASPIE and wife Marjean of Omaha; seven grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
