MILLER, Hazel D. -- Hazel D. MILLER, 103, died at 11:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 3, 2007, at Van Buren Good Samaritan Center in Keosauqua.

A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Reece Funeral Home, with Bill Payne officiating. The body has been cremated. Inurnment will be in Bethel Cemetery, east of Sigourney.

Family visitation will be from 9-10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to Van Buren Good Samaritan Center or Arthritis Foundation.

Mrs. MILLER was born June 23, 1904, in Keokuk County, the daughter of William and Ambia ALEXANDER FOWLER. She married Omar KLETT in 1927. He died Nov. 8, 1965. She married Herman MILLER in 1972. He died June 8, 1974.

A former resident of Keokuk and Jefferson counties, Mrs. MILLER moved to Ottumwa in 1972. She was a farm wife, and after her first husband's death, she worked at Parsons College in Fairfield.

Surviving is one son, Ronald KLETT and wife Yvonne of Cantril; one daughter, Betty JOHNSON of Oak Park, Ill.; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Donald and Roger KLETT; one grandson; five brothers, Glen, Homer, Vernon, Oren and Arthur FOWLER; and two sisters, Neva SCHULTZ and Nell WOODS.
