NICHOLS, Nancy Kae -- Nancy Kae NICHOLS, 52, of Lockridge died unexpectedly at 7:02 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2007, at the Henry County Health Center Emergency Room in Mount Pleasant.
No formal service or visitation is scheduled for the immediate future. The Weir & Kimzey Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Mrs. NICHOLS was born Aug. 9, 1955, in Mount Pleasant, the daughter of Van Stephen and Donna Jean MORGAN CRAWFORD. She married Randy Rex NICHOL Feb. 23, 1999, in Mount Pleasant.
She attended school in Mount Pleasant and a school for stenography.
She lived most of her life in the Mount Pleasant area, although she lived for a brief time in Washington, Iowa, and California. She has been a resident of the Lockridge community for the past few years.
Mrs. NICHOLS was a longtime homemaker, who worked part time as a bartender for various lounges in the southeast Iowa area. She had a love and devotion to the many cats, dogs and other animals for which she cared.
Survivors include her husband Randy NICHOLS of Lockridge; two daughters, Wendy Dawn STODERL of Iowa City and Jami Michelle ANDERSON of Burlington; her mother, Donna CRAWFORD of Coralville; two brothers Denny CRAWFORD of Centralia, Mo., and Michael CRAWFORD of Burlington; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father and grandparents.
