Mrs. Ed Brokken, 66, 201 E. Adams, died 1:35 a.m. today at Jefferson County Hospital. Raymond Funeral Home. Burial will be in Union Cemetery near Parsonsville. Anna Leu was born February 6, 1902 in Henry County, the daughter of Christian and Mertie Jannings Leu. She graduated in 1922 from Fairfield High School. She married Ed Brokken November 4, 1929. Surviving are husband and children: Wallace and Leo Brokken, both of Fairfield; Ray Brokken, Corvallis, Ore. Thomas Brokken, Rockford, Ill.; Mrs. Max Heston, Brentwood, Mo.; Mrs. Ray Kautz, Muscatine; Mrs. Larry Terrill, Muscatine; and Sonja Brokken, Rockford, Ill.; 25 grandchildren, and brothers and sisters: Iliff and Roy Leu, Fairfield; John Leu, St. Petersburg, Fla.; Edison and Paul Leu, Mt. Pleasant; Clifford Leu, Marion; and Harvey Leu, Danville; Mrs. Roy Dressen, Chicago, Ill.; and Mrs. Edbert Ruhl, Santa Barbara, Calif. She was a member of the Methodist Church. One grandhild, one sister and one brother preceded her in death.
