McINTIRE, Merle E. -- Merle E. McINTIRE, 86, of DeBary, Fla., died Thursday, Sept. 6, 2007, in Winter Park, Fla.

A service was held Sept. 11 at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home Oaklawn Chapel in Sanford, Fla. Interment was in Oaklawn Park Cemetery in Lake Mary, Fla.

Mr. McINTIRE was born Aug. 11, 1921, in Fairfield.

Mr. McINTIRE had been a security officer in federal aviation.

He is survived by his wife, Sara; two brothers, Ronald McINTIRE of Las Vegas and Donald McINTIRE of Grant Pass, Ore.; one daughter, Karen Sue KUYKENDALL of DeBary, Fla.; two sons, Merle E. McINTIRE and wife Jo of Ashville, N.C., and Dani McINTIRE and wife Judy of Las Vegas; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
