SUTHERLIN, Rita Louise WARD -- Rita Louise WARD SUTHERLIN, 59, of North Carolina, formerly of Selma, Ala., died Saturday, Sept. 29, 2007.

A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at New Live Oak Cemetery, with Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home of Selma, Ala., directing.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the local animal shelter.

Survivors include her husband, David SUTHERLIN, formerly of Fairfield; one daughter, Andrea SUTHERLIN; her mother, Marie WARD; two sisters, Carolyn PRESCOTT and Donna ARNETT; and one brother, Eddie WARD Jr.

Mrs. SUTHERLIN was preceded in death by her father, Eddie WARD Sr.
