TRUEBLOOD, Clarence L. -- Clarence L. TRUEBLOOD, 79, of Fairfield, died Friday, Sept. 28, 2007, at Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield.

A service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield, with the Rev. Danny Cary officiating. Burial will be in Smith Cemetery in rural Birmingham.

Family visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association. Cards and memorials may be sent to 204 N. Fifth St., Fairfield 52556.

Mr. TRUEBLOOD was born June 16, 1928, in Lakefield, Minn., the son of Harry and Margie LOCKNER TRUEBLOOD. He married Mary Ann DONALD.

Mr. TRUEBLOOD lived most of his life in the Fairfield area. He was a molder for the Iowa Malleable Iron Company for 41 years.

Mr. TRUEBLOOD was a member of Eagles Club No. 1927, a social member of Veterans of Foreign Wars and a member of First Lutheran Church.

He was involved in Fairfield Little League and enjoyed fishing.

Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Donna L. JENS of Manassas, Va.; one son, Donald L. TRUEBLOOD of Cedar Rapids; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one sister, Fern THORNBURG-STECKER of Mount Pleasant.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Vern TRUEBLOOD; and one infant sister, Marjorie TRUEBLOOD.
