Edna Lavonne Manley, 70, of Fairfield, died Friday, Dec. 1, 2006, at Jefferson County Hospital.

The funeral is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Behner Funeral Home. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Visitation, with the family present, will be 6:30-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Manley was born April 11, 1936, in Fairfield, the daughter of Carson Archer and Margaret Sinn Reighard. She married Jack Rodger Manley in 1957. They were later divorced.

Mrs. Manley lived all of her life in the Fairfield community. She was employed as a nurses aide and medical aide at Nelson Nursing Home for 16 years. She was a member of Free Methodist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Cheryl Royer and husband Mike of Fairfield and Trina Smalley of Fairfield; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Eva Stever of Fairfield and Wilda Graham of San Diego, Calif.; and one brother, Cloyce Reighard of Burlington.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Donald Reighard; and one sister, Wilma Edwards.
