MANNING, Vicky Ilene -- Vicky Ilene MANNING, 58, of Savannah, Mo., died Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2007.

MANNING, Vicky Ilene WHIPPLE -- Vicky Ilene WHIPPLE MANNING, 58, born Dec. 26, 1948, of Savannah, Mo., formerly of Wichita, Kansas and Batavia, Ia., passed away peacefully Tuesday Aug. 21, 2007 in a St. Joseph, Mo. hospital after a brief illness.

Vicky was a RN who worked as a Hospice nurse for many years. She graduated from Fairfield High School in 1967.

She is survived by her two sons Glenn Jason of Monticello, Arkansas and Eric of North Liberty, Ia., her parents Richard and Maxine WHIPPLE of Fairfield, brothers Steve (Rita) WHIPPLE of Cosby, Mo., Greg WHIPPLE of Zionsville, Indiana, sister Carla (Butch) BLOOMQUIST of Fairfield, Ia. and mother-in-law Marjorie MANNING of Fairfield.

Vicky was preceded in death by her husband Glenn Keith "Jay" MANNING.

Services will be held at the Faith United Methodist Church in Libertyville, Ia. at 10:30 a.m. Sat. Aug. 25, 2007. A private inurnment will be held after the service for family and friends. Memorials can be sent to the Hospice of your choosing or Jefferson County (IA) Parks.
