CHANDLER, Danny -- Danny CHANDLER, 62, of Kansas City, Mo., formerly of Fairfield, died Tuesday, July 31, 2007.

A private service will be held Friday at White Funeral Chapel Home in Kansas City.

Memorials may be made to the Jared Allen Sack Diabetes Foundation.

Mr. CHANDLER was born in Wichita, Kan., and graduated from Friends Bible Academy in Haviland, Kan. He moved to Fairfield in 1970 to work at Parsons College. He later was a Fairfield police officer for 10 years, serving as the department's crime prevention officer for three years.

Survivors include his wife, Nancy; three sons, Brian and wife Sheila of Seattle, wash., and Dale and Robert of Kansas City; and three grandchildren.
