Mrs. James M. Gregg died at her home on West Washington Street Sunday evening shortly after 8 o'clock. Prudence Elizabeth Billingsley Gregg was born Feb. 13, 1850 in Glasgow, Iowa, and resided in that vicinity until about nine years ago. On Apr. 6, 1869, she was married to James M. Gregg. Five children; one, William, dying in infancy. Her husband and four daughters, Mrs. I. H. Tomlinson of Des Moines, Mrs. C. S. Bishop of Glasgow, Mrs. E. C. Boxk and Mrs. W. C. Smith of this city survive her. About nine years ago Mr. and Mrs. Gregg moved to Fairfield where they have since resided. Methodist church. Funeral held Wednesday at 9 o'clock at the residence at the corner of E. Washington and B Streets, Rev. C. L. Tennant. . . . and the remains were taken to Glasgow for burial. The funeral was largely attended by the members of the Women's Relief Corps and the G.A.R., many of whom accompanied the family to Glasgow.
