The mortuary list for the month is a sad one. . . . . On the 27th in the city died Mrs. James Gregg aged 60. Mrs. Gregg was the daughter of Elijah Billingsley and was born in Round Prairie township. She was the wife of a soldier, had a brother and uncle in the army, the former dying in the service; her sympathy was always warm towards the soldiers; she was made an honorary member of Co. M, Fourth Iowa Cavalry.
