Mrs. Mary E. (Huffman) Bishop died; bur. Bethel Cemetery (west of Birmingham, in Van Buren County). One of the older residents of Jefferson County. Husband John Bishop died about four years ago. Resided on a farm near Libertyville for over forty years. Five of the nine children survive the mother; T.J. and S.B. of Libertyville, Mrs. Anna Berry of Culbertson, Mo.; Dr. C.S. Bishop of Glasgow, and Mrs. Mary Hombleal of Rock Island.
