GLASGOW PIONEER IS DEAD.
Silas Durke, aged 84 years, died Tuesday night about 9 o'clock at the home of his daughter, Mrs. John Williamson of Glasgow. Mr. Durke was one of the oldest settlers of that vicinity and was well known in this part of the county. Three sons and two daughters are left: J.H. Durke of Sapulpa, Okla.; F.S. Durke of Sterling, Colo; E.W. Durke of Marshalltown; Mrs. John Williamson of Glasgow, and Mrs. Hattie Edmunds of this city.
