PRATT, Perry J. 'Huck' -- Perry J. "Huck" PRATT, 83, of Chillicothe, Mo., died Tuesday, July 17, 2007, at Baptist Home in Chillicothe.
Mr. PRATT was born April 22, 1924, in Utica, the son of Perry and Loretha STEVENS PRATT. He married Geraldine SNYDER April 7, 1946, at Fairfield Christian Church in Fairfield.
Mr. PRATT graduated from Stockport High School in 1942.
Mr. PRATT served in the U.S. Air Force for 21 years, retiring as a Senior Master Sergeant. He served during World War II and the Korean War. He also had worked in civil service logistics for the Armed Forces.
He was a member of First Baptist Church in Chillicothe and had previously been a member of First Baptist Church in Harrisonville, Mo., where he served as a deacon for 25 years.
He enjoyed golfing, watching the Chiefs and Royals and spending time with family.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Dan Matthew PRATT and wife Brenda of Blue Springs, Mo., and Troy Dean PRATT of Hudsonville, Mich.; three daughters, Terissa Jeanne JOHNSON and husband Allen of Bellvue, Neb., Cheryl Ann THOMAS of Stanton, Mo., and Wendy Carol HENDERSHOT of Chilton, Texas; one brother, Don PRATT of Fort Madison; one sister, Elizabeth CLARK of West Burlington; 14 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Gertrude LYDOLPH.

CORRECTION
Perry "Huck" PRATT, 83, of Chillicothe, Mo., died July 17, 2007 at Chillicothe. An incorrect date was reported in the Stockport community news in Tuesday's Fairfield Ledger.A graveside service with full military honors took place Friday at Dibble Cemetery, south of Stockport.
Mr. PRATT was born in Utica and graduated in 1942 from Stockport High School.
He married Geraldine SNYDER April 7, 1946, at Fairfield Christian Church. She survives.
